Blemil plus Max is an infant formula for the management of colic and other mild digestive disorders. 

Blemil plus Max fully meets the needs of infants from birth until 6 months of age as a unique feeding and during introduction of complementary feeding as a part of a diet progressive diversified. 

The combination of precooked corn starch with a low lactose content increases the digestibility and tolerance of the formula, contributing to relieve colic symptoms such as crying and irritability. Additionally, its symbiotic effect improves lactose tolerance and creates a healthy microbiota, which helps to the digestive and immune maturation of the baby.

Blemil plus MAX contains: 

• Proteins:

  - High content of α-lactalbumin (19.4%),  a large quality protein fraction that helps adapt the protein intake to the degree of maturation of the baby's digestive system and kidneys, while maintaining a high concentration of essential amino acids. α-lactalbumin is rich in sialic acid, a component that has a bifidogenic effect as well as being immunomodulatory and antibacterial, so it helps protect against infections. Moreover, sialic acid is important in brain development. Adequate tolerance of α-lactalbumin and its high tryptophan content contribute to sleep/arousal cycle development.
  - Nucleotides, nutrients that influence the maturation of the digestive system and of the immune function. 

• Carbohydrates:

  - Combines precooked corn starch and maltodextrine, to facilitate digestion and decrease the osmolarity of the formula. Its low lactose content contributes to reduce flatulence at the digestive level.

• Fats: 

  - Provides essential fatty acids and LC-PUFA’s (DHA and ARA), important for the maturation of the central nervous system and the immune function. With regard to their digestive benefits, they favour the reduction of stool consistency and stimulate the absorption of nutrients, improving the digestibility of the formula.
  - Fatty acid profile close to breast milk, with an adequate content of essential fatty acids and LC-PUFAs ω-3 and ω-6 (DHA and AA). These are important for Central Nervous System and the visual function development as well as for protection against inflammatory processes. With regard to their digestive benefits, they favour the reduction of stool consistency and stimulate the absorption of nutrients, improving the digestibility of the formula. 

• Probiotics (B. infantis and L. rhamnosus) and prebiotics (FOS), nutrients that Improve balance of the intestinal microflora by stimulating growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract, helping to prevent the growth of pathogens and stimulating maturation of natural defenses. They also contribute to the maturation of the digestive system and the regulation of intestinal transit.  
• Taurine and L-carnitine, nutrients essential for fatty acids metabolism and energy production. Additionally, they are important for Central Nervous System and visual function maturation as well as brain structures development. 
• Vitamins and minerals: Contains vitamins and minerals that cover the meet the nutritional requirements of infants, including zinc (related with optimal functioning of natural defenses and growth) as well as selenium and vitamin E, powerful antioxidant.
