Features
The new improvements applied to Blemil plus 1 FH are:
- Incorporation of a new symbiotic formula with prebiotics and probiotics: This formula is designed to modulate the intestinal microbiota favoring the predominance of bifidobacteria, which is considered a protective mechanism against gastrointestinal infections and common allergies in infants. It contains short-chain and long-chain fructooligosaccharides as prebiotics, and Bifidobacterium infantis IM1 and Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001 as probiotics. Bifidobacterium infantis IM1 is an exclusive probiotic strain patented by Laboratorios Ordesa, isolated from babies exclusively fed with breast milk, which has demonstrated excellent tolerance and safety, as well as efficacy in reducing the onset of acute diarrhea in infants. Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001, administered during prenatal and postnatal stages, has been shown to be useful in reducing some symptoms associated with allergies, such as eczema, wheezing, and rhinitis.
- Elimination of palm oil: This new composition presents excellent tolerance and digestibility.
- Increase in levels of LCPUFAs (long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids): DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and AA (arachidonic acid).
We maintain the main characteristics of the formula, including:
- Base of highly hydrolyzed cow's milk proteins, being the first recommended alternative by ESPGHAN and other national and international scientific societies.
- Reduced allergenicity: 100% highly hydrolyzed casein with 95% of peptides with a molecular weight less than 1000 Da.
- High tolerance and digestibility: 100% dextrinomaltose and a content of 21% MCT, favoring the absorption and digestion of fats.
- Adequate osmolarity, with 15% free amino acids and contribution of dextrinomaltose.
- Promotion of improvement in allergic symptomatology, thanks to its content of compounds with anti-inflammatory activity such as probiotics in the follow-on formula, GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) and DHA."
