Features
Blemil Plus 2 Hydrolyzed Rice is a follow-on formula based on hydrolyzed rice proteins that provides an optimal nutrient intake for infants from 6 months of age, helping to meet their nutritional requirements and achieve a balanced diet. Now with a new, even more complete, innovative, and effective composition.
New improvements applied:
- New symbiotic formula with prebiotics and probiotics: With the aim of modulating the intestinal microbiota towards a predominance of bifidobacteria, which has been postulated as a protective mechanism against gastrointestinal infections and common allergies in infants. It contains short-chain and long-chain fructooligosaccharides as a prebiotic source, and Bifidobacterium infantis IM1 and Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001 as probiotics. Bifidobacterium infantis IM1 is an exclusive probiotic strain patented by Laboratorios Ordesa, isolated from infants exclusively fed with breast milk, which has shown excellent tolerance and safety and demonstrated efficacy in reducing the occurrence of acute diarrhea in infants. Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001, administered during the prenatal and postnatal stages, has been shown to be useful in reducing symptoms associated with allergic march, such as eczema with possible extension to atopy, wheezing, hay fever, and rhinitis.
- No palm oil, excellent tolerance, and digestibility.
We maintain its nutritional advantages:
- Low allergenicity: its formula with partially hydrolyzed rice proteins promotes the acquisition of tolerance to cow's milk protein at levels similar to extensively hydrolyzed cow's milk protein formulas.
- Clinically proven effectiveness and safety: the development of anthropometric parameters is similar to that of infants fed with standard formulas.
- Excellent tolerance and acceptance: pleasant taste and aroma, promoting superior acceptance compared to other extensively hydrolyzed cow's milk protein formulas for the treatment of cow's milk protein allergy.
- Excellent digestibility:
- Vegetable lipid fraction, providing a balanced supply of saturated, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fatty acids. The absorption and digestion of the fat fraction are favored by its content of medium-chain triglycerides (23.6% of the lipid fraction).
- Its carbohydrates come from dextrinomaltose (79%) and corn starch (21%). It does not contain lactose or sucrose.
- It provides a balanced supply of vitamins and minerals that meet the needs of infants in these nutrients, according to ESPGHAN recommendations and Spanish and European regulations.
Instructions
- Dietary treatment for infants with cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA) and soy allergic or non-allergic, of plant origin.
